Clay Carter

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998 with degrees in History and Business. I also had the honor of playing baseball for the University. I have lived in Austin for over 32 years. My wife, Becky, and I have raised our four children here and lived in West Austin our entire time.

I began my career in financial services immediately after college. In 1999, I started as a financial advisor with New York Life under the business name DBA Carter Wealth Management. In 2010, I rebranded the firm as Blue Waters Advisory Group, which I have operated ever since. Today, we serve more than 100 families, providing comprehensive financial planning and investment management.
